In an attempt to recreate the knitting pattern of the Mosquito Parka used in the military, this knitwear is made using a border mesh pattern made from gima cotton thread, which has been flattened and glued with a resin, and then connected into a net-like shape using thin threads mixed with washi paper.
The style is based on the 40's N-2 military deck rain parka with lace-knitted slits on the front, but by changing it to a kangaroo pocket, you can enjoy a see-through look when you put your hands or things inside, and you can also change the silhouette by adjusting the drawstring at the hem with the adjuster. The cuffs are knitted in jersey knit and are designed to turn over to the front, making them a comfortable item to wear.
