Collection: NANGA

Nanga is a sleeping bag manufacturer that was founded in 1941 by the previous president, Akira Yokota, in the Omi cotton futon production area, and was born in the town of feathers. The company name "Nanga" comes from Nanga Parbat in the Himalayas. Nanga Parbat is the 9th highest mountain in the world at 8,126m above sea level, and is also known as the "Man-Eating Mountain", a difficult mountain to climb that has caused many casualties in the past. The company name embodies the founder Akira Yokota's desire to "do it because it is difficult, to climb where no one else has climbed". NANGA's specialty is feathers. Thanks to the know-how of feather selection, washing, and management that has been cultivated over the years, they are able to continue to make warmer feather products.
